Points & prizes
Every stamp and tick has a value. Here is exactly how the journey is scored — and what is waiting at each milestone.
How points are earned

Boys
| Prayer or activity | Points |
|---|---|
| Fajr in jamaat at the masjid | 50 |
| Any other fard in jamaat (Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha, Jumu’ah) | 25 |
| Fajr at home (parent tick) | 2 |
| Any other fard at home (parent tick) | 1 |
| Qualifying ta’lim (once per day) | +5 |
| Staying for the Jumu’ah khutbah & bayaan | +10 |

Girls
| Prayer or activity | Points |
|---|---|
| Fajr — home or masjid, once verified and stamped | 50 |
| Any other fard — home or masjid, once verified and stamped | 25 |
| Qualifying ta’lim (once per day) | +5 |
Girls’ prayers count only after official verification and physical stamping — see the girls’ pathway.
The All Five stamp
Praying all five prayers in one day earns the special All Five recognition stamp. It is worth 0 points — pure celebration — because no prayer is ever counted twice.
Checkpoint milestone targets
Reach the target for your year group within a checkpoint to pass that milestone and qualify for its gift. Scores reset to zero at the start of each checkpoint.

The grand tier ladder
Every point from all 36 days builds one cumulative grand total. At the end of the programme each child receives the award for the single highest tier their total has reached.
Tier 1
Journey Begun
1,530+
cumulative points
Tier 2
Steady Traveller
3,060+
cumulative points
Tier 3
Jannah Pathfinder
3,825+
cumulative points
Tier 4
Road to Jannah Champion
4,590+
cumulative points
Early Travellers (below Year 1)
Our youngest travellers join as a participation pathway — they collect stamps and celebrate along the way without targets or tiers. Every Early Traveller who takes part is recognised at the final celebration.
Gifts and awards
- Milestone gifts — one for each checkpoint target passed, up to four across the summer.
- Grand tier award — a single award for the highest tier reached on the cumulative total (not one per tier).
- Perfect Journey seal — the gold seal for passing all three checkpoints, awarded separately from and on top of the grand tier.
Fairness rules
- No double counting — a prayer is counted once. A jamaat stamp replaces the home tick for the same prayer; it is never added to it.
- No rounding up— a child’s score is never rounded up to a target or tier. Close is close; the target is the target.
- Qada is not scored — made-up prayers earn 0 points, though making them up is of course always encouraged.
- Late arrival rule — joining the congregation before the imam completes the final salam counts as jamaat.
- Jumu’ah replaces Dhuhr on Fridays, worth 25 points in jamaat.
Gifts are subject to stock and sensible substitution — see the programme rules.
