Programme rules

The fine print, written kindly. Registering a child means agreeing to these simple rules — they exist to keep the journey fair, safe and joyful for everyone.

1. Parent and guardian responsibility

Road to Jannah is a family programme, and parents remain at its centre throughout. By registering, you agree to supervise your child’s participation, tick home prayers honestly, and keep the passport safe.

Safeguarding

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times — including travel to and from Masjid-e-Vali and while on the premises. The programme does not provide childcare or supervision, and children attending for jamaat or verification must be accompanied or have their attendance arranged by their parent or guardian.

2. Fair play

The passport is a record of real prayers, really prayed. Parent ticks are given on trust — please give them honestly, for prayers actually performed on time. No prayer is counted twice, qada prayers score no points, scores are never rounded up, and joining the congregation before the imam completes the final salam counts as jamaat. The programme team may decline or correct entries that do not reflect these rules.

3. Masjid-e-Vali is home base

Road to Jannah is a Masjid-e-Vali initiative. Its whole purpose is to build the love of salah in our children and to fill the rows of our own congregation — so the journey is designed around praying with the jamaat at Masjid-e-Vali, and around guardians attending Fajr and Isha here on the girls’ pathway.

Everyone is welcome to register. Stamps from other masajid exist for one reason: so the journey doesn’t stop when your family is travelling or genuinely away. They are not a way to complete the passport somewhere else. The programme team reviews every external stamp, expects the majority of a child’s jamaat prayers to be with the congregation at Masjid-e-Vali, and may decline external entries or gifts where a passport has effectively been completed at another masjid.

4. Stamping authority

At Masjid-e-Vali, stamps are applied only by the imam and appointed personnel.
At any other masjid, only the imam of that masjid may verify a prayer.
Stamps applied by anyone else are not valid and will not be scored.

5. Questions and disputes

If you believe a stamp, tally or award is incorrect, raise it with the programme leadat Masjid-e-Vali — in person or via the contact details in your registration confirmation. Every query is looked at against the passport and the verification records, and the programme lead’s decision on scoring is final. Disputes are handled privately; no child’s record is ever discussed publicly.

6. Gifts and awards

Milestone gifts, grand tier awards and the Perfect Journey seal are described on the points & prizes page. All gifts are subject to stock; where an advertised item is unavailable, a substitute of similar value and delight will be offered. Gifts have no cash value. Collection dates are announced by the programme team.

7. Key dates

The programme runs from Monday, 27 July 2026 to Monday, 31 August 2026 inclusive, split into three checkpoints:

Checkpoint 1: 27 July – 7 August (12 days)
Checkpoint 2: 8 August – 19 August (12 days)
Checkpoint 3: 20 August – 31 August (12 days)

Dates may be adjusted by the programme team where necessary; registered families will be told of any change.
